Lagi Sekolah Menolak Fata

Menjelang dimulai nya tahun ajaran baru 2011/2012, orang tua berlomba-lomba mencari sekolah yang dianggap terbaik untuk putra putrinya. Demikian juga kami, orang tua FATA. FATA akan masuk SD. Seperti biasa, kesana – kemari kami mencoba dan selalu mendapat penolakan yang sama. SEDIH, YA! Tapi semangat menyamakan FATA dengan anak yang lain tidak pernah sirna, sampai akhirnya, kami berlabuh di sebuah sekolah yang (hampir mau) menerima FATA.

YA! BENAR, hanpir mau. Kenapa? Karena tidak seperti anak lain yang melakukan pendaftaran, ditest, lulus, kemudian diterima. Fata sebelum ditest pun sudah ditolak, karena apa? Karena dianggap dia tidak dapat mengikuti pelajaran seperti teman-teman nya yang lain. Lho kok bisa? Ya, karena dia menggunakan alat bantu dengar!!!

Segera kami mempersiapkan diri dengan berbagai argumentasi, tapi pihak yayasan masih menolak. Alhamdulillah, berkat rahmat Allah Yang Maha Kuasa, dorongan rekan-rekan orang tua dan guru FATA sewaktu di TK, negosiasi dengan pihak sekolah mengalami kemajuan. Permintaan kami cuma satu : “Samakan perlakukan FATA dengan anak lain!!!, tidak kurang tidak lebih”. Sisanya biarkan kami orang tua nya yang melengkapi.

Meski pun pada akhirnya kami harus membuat “perjanjian” dengan pihak sekolah, kami TIDAK AKAN MENYERAH. FATA punya hak yang sama dengan lain. Dan itu yang SEHARUSNYA.

Soon we prepare ourselves with the various arguments, but the foundation still refused. Alhamdulillah, thanks to the grace of Allah the Almighty, colleagues urge parents and teachers while in kindergarten FATA, negotiations with the school progress. We request only one: “Equalized treat FATA with other children!, not less not more “. The rest of us parents let her complete.

Even though in the end we had to make a “covenant” with the school, we WILL NOT GIVE UP. FATA have the same rights as others. And that’s what SHOULD.
